The 2021 list of NYC and Westchester County’s
Michelin-starred restaurants
On May 6, 2021, in the particular context of the COVID-19 pandemic, The Michelin Guide unveiled its 2021 star rating for New York City and Westchester County.
In total 68 restaurants were awarded stars.
Given the difficult circumstances, no restaurant was dropped or downgraded in 2021, among those which remained opened or still temporarily closed.
7 newcomers made it to the Michelin-1-star list: Don Angie, Francie, Jua, Kochi, Rezdôra, Tsukimi, Vestry.
The Michelin-2-star and Michelin-3-star categories remain the same.
Besides its 2 Stars, Blue Hill at Stone Barns was also awarded the new Michelin "Green Star", in recognition of its long time commitment to sustainability.
With 5 restaurants, the list of Michelin-3-star restaurants in NYC stays the same.
